GEN Estonia

    estonia-900x250-481x230The Network of Estonian Eco-Communities (EÖÜ/NEEC) is an Estonian non-governmental
    organisation founded in 2008 by people engaged in adult education and interested in sustainable
    lifestyles. The organisation has currently ca 70 members (individuals and organisations) and acts as an umbrella organisation for new and existing eco-communities. It offers regularly relevant trainings on all aspects of sustainability both for adults and for youth and children. It also organises international community-related seminars in Estonia and it participates in the New School movement (sustainability related community schools). EÖÜ serves the Estonian network of ecological community projects with various educational programmes and therefore offers a good platform to test the ecovillage incubator project.
